Through stimulation of specific points on the body, acupuncture helps relieve pain, promote healing, and improve physical, mental, and emotional health. There’s almost nothing that can’t be helped through acupuncture! I have successfully treated things such as joint pain, thyroid imbalances, sinuses, allergies, Tourettes, PTSD, depression, canker sores, and more!
I am also certified in cosmetic acupuncture and can help reduce wrinkles, tighten loose skin, and reduce scarring and acne blemishes.
Therapeutic massage uses multiple techniques to ensure the most beneficial treatment for each person. Massage is especially effective in treating muscular conditions such as tightness, soreness, limited mobility, and pain. Whether you have an ongoing issue or a temporary situation, massage therapy can help you begin to feel your best!
Cupping can be considered a broad form of acupressure and has been used in Eastern medicine for thousands of years. Cupping stimulates nerve and blood flow through the application of outward pressure on the muscle and connective tissues by using a vacuum effect to create suction. Cups are placed over specific areas of the body for several minutes. The prolonged negative pressure helps tight muscles relax and promotes the expansion of blood vessels to increase blood flow.
Cupping can be done nearly anywhere on the body where there are tight and stubborn muscles. This process usually leaves circular “bruises.” These bruises do not hurt and usually last for a few days.
